Developing Recreation Skills in Persons with Developmental Disabilities, Adaptive sports also known as para sports, events, approach to sports and competition programs in India. Also, Deaflympics, Special Olympics, Paralympics details. Lack of perceptual, motor, memory, lingaustic, physical or organizational skillsmay cause special people much difficulty in leisure activities. Sports teaches us independence and give us learning from experience. If that learning experience is structured recreational program under expert supervision, it cal lead to icnrease in behaviour change, skill learning, visual memory, information learning, learning facts, concepts, schematic arrangement,learning attitude, values, social skills etc. Studies show that sports also help us in stress, education, employement, reducing pain and depression medication, fewer secondary medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension etc.
